The Tommy Givan 50TT doubled up as the Ulster 50m TT Championship on Sunday the 5th July on the popular Woodgreen course. The event seen 40 entries on day the weather forecasters gave frequent heavy thundery showers, however it remained dry and quite warm. A tough headwind from Ballymena to Dunsilly was certainly the toughest stretch of the course where riders struggled to break 20 mph. The County Down Open Time Trial (10 Mile) Championships will take place on 11th July 2015.This event is open to all cyclists holding a minimum of a limited Competition Cycling Ireland licence. Only members of a Co.Down club or those with a permanent address in Co.Down will be eligible for the championship prize.
