Any cycling club interested in providing more opportunities for disabled cyclists will be delighted to learn that Disability Sport NI is in the process of establishing a Disability Sports Hub in each of the eleven district council areas in the north, providing a range of sports wheelchairs, inclusive bikes and inclusive sports equipment to enable children and adults with disabilities to participate in at least fourteen different activities.

Each sports hub currently has the following bikes for use by clubs and participants:

  • 4 tandem cycles
  • 5 hand cycles (3 x senior + 2 x junior)
  • 3 trikes (Small, Medium & Large)
